First Motors, in collaboration with the esteemed entities of the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, and the Supreme Council for the Environment, announces its generous support for the national afforestation campaign “Forever Green.”
This significant contribution from First Motors will facilitate the planting of 150 seedlings along Dry Dock Street and 60 seedlings on the waterfront in East Al-Hidd. The carefully selected species, including Hibiscus trees, Albizia, and Poinciana, have been chosen for their natural beauty and pivotal role in air purification and aesthetic enhancement of these areas.
The inauguration ceremony of the first planting site saw the presence of distinguished personalities such as Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Sector Development, Mr. Nawaf Khaled Al-Zayani, Managing Director of First Motors, Engineer Khaled Al-Qallaf, Director-General of Muharraq Municipality, and esteemed stakeholders from the agricultural sector.
