Hyundai Bahrain leads Middle East and Africa region in digital transformation and online sales

Manama, Bahrain, March 30, 2022 — Hyundai Motor Company recognized First Motors – Hyundai Bahrain as the first pilot dealer for implementing online consultation tool on Hyundai website to help the customers finding their convenient cars.

Hyundai Bahrain with the cooperation of the regional Hyundai team has shot an educational video to be used across all distributors of Middle East and Africa for almost 179 showrooms and more than 8,000 employees to train their sales teams how to use the online solution as well as the benefits of using it for both customers and the company.

The online sales consultation tool which is developed by Whisbi in Spain is a digital live chat platform used by Hyundai Sales team to simplify the online sales process allowing the customer to view live the showroom and the cars that they are asking about in real environment as well as the possibility of sharing the website, quotations, and arranging test drives.

First Motors sales team started using the platform from the year 2020 just as the global pandemic hit trying to provide our customers with more easy and convenient way to visit the showroom without physically being there.

As a result, First Motors have managed to achieve perfect results in terms of Leads (855), and (57%) of actual sales through the website.
